Abstract
La siguiente investigación documental se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de
analizar la manera en la que el uso de títeres como herramienta
pedagógica favorece la producción oral del idioma inglés en los
estudiantes de educación primaria. El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo con
enfoque cualitativo. Las unidades de análisis fueron la importancia de los
títeres como recurso pedagógico y los componentes de la producción oral.
La información recopilada fue interpretada mediante una matriz de
triangulación que permitió comparar diferentes fuentes. Los resultados
muestran que los títeres favorecen al desarrollo de la pronunciación, el
vocabulario, la fluidez y la entonación en inglés, al fomentar un ambiente
seguro y didáctico que ayuda en la mejora de la producción oral en
estudiantes de primaria.
This documentary research aimed to analyze theoretical and academic information about using puppets as a pedagogical tool to improve oral production of English in primary school students. The study used a descriptive design with a qualitative approach. The analysis focused on the importance of puppets as a teaching resource and the elements of oral production. The collected information was interpreted using a triangulation matrix which allowed for comparing different sources. The findings show that puppets lead to the development of pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, and intonation in English, encouraging a safe and didactic environment that helps in the improvement of oral production in primary school learners.
