Abstract
Esta investigación se desarrolla con un enfoque cuantitativo y es de naturaleza descriptiva simple. Tuvo como objetivo, determinar el nivel de logro de la competencia “Indaga mediante métodos científicos para construir conocimientos” en los jóvenes de quinto año de secundaria de un colegio en la zona metropolitana de Lima. Fue relevante porque permitió identificar el nivel de logro de los estudiantes luego de un año de presencialidad post pandémica, asimismo el estado de las estudiantes con respecto a la búsqueda de información científica con el fin de edificar saberes en el área de Ciencia y Tecnología, por consiguiente, sirvió también para planificar mejoras en el desarrollo de la competencia “Indaga mediante métodos científicos para construir conocimientos”. Se concluye que más de la mitad de las estudiantes se encuentran en el nivel de logro con respecto a los resultados de la evaluación diagnostica de la competencia “Indaga mediante métodos científicos para construir conocimientos”.
This research was conducted with a quantitative approach and is of a simple descriptive nature. Its objective was to determine the achievement level of the competency "Investigate using scientific methods to build knowledge" among fifth-year high school students in a school in the metropolitan area of Lima. It was significant as it allowed for the identification of the students' achievement level after a year of post-pandemic in-person schooling. Furthermore, it assessed the state of the students in relation to their search for scientific information with the aim of building knowledge in the field of Science and Technology, thereby also aiding in planning improvements in the development of the competency "Investigate using scientific methods to build knowledge." It concludes that more than half of the students are at the achievement level with respect to the results of the diagnostic evaluation of the competency "Investigate using scientific methods to build knowledge."
