Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo general analizar la aplicación del enfoque comunicativo para la expresión oral en el idioma inglés en estudiantes del nivel primario. Se empleó una metodología de enfoque cualitativo, con un diseño de tipo documental, al basarse en la revisión, selección y análisis de fuentes teóricas y estudios previos relacionados con las categorías de estudio. Para la recolección de información se utilizaron instrumentos de análisis documental, como fichas de resumen y una matriz de triangulación, que permitieron organizar la información y comparar los hallazgos obtenidos. Los resultados evidencian que el enfoque comunicativo, al centrarse en la interacción auténtica y significativa, favorece el desarrollo de la expresión oral en inglés mediante el uso de estrategias didácticas como dramatizaciones, entrevistas simuladas, juegos de roles y diálogos contextualizados. Se concluye que la implementación de este enfoque permite a los estudiantes desenvolverse con mayor fluidez, confianza y pertinencia en el uso del idioma inglés, promoviendo un aprendizaje más dinámico y funcional desde el nivel primario.
The principal purpose of this investigation was to analyze the application of the communicative approach in oral expression in the English language in elementary learners. A qualitative methodology with a documentary research design was used, focusing on the review, selection, and analysis of theoretical sources and previous studies related to the main research categories. This investigation makes use of tools such as summary sheets and an analytical triangulation grid were used to collect data, which facilitated the organization and comparison of findings. The results show that the communicative approach, by emphasizing authentic and meaningful interaction, supports the development of oral expression in English through the use of didactic strategies such as role-plays, simulated interviews, dramatizations, and contextualized dialogues. It is concluded that implementing this approach at the primary level enables students to communicate more fluently, confidently, and appropriately in English, fostering a more dynamic and functional learning experience from the early years of schooling.
