Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo desarrollar las habilidades científicas en los niños de 4 años a través del proyecto de aprendizaje “Somos exploradores marinos” debido a que el 70% de los niños se encontraron en inicio y el 30% en proceso, datos que se obtuvieron en la evaluación diagnóstica realizada al inicio del año. Al término de la aplicación de la propuesta, se tuvo como resultado que los niños lograron desarrollar habilidades científicas en la competencia “Indaga mediante métodos científicos para construir sus conocimientos” del área de Ciencia y Tecnología, mediante los seis pasos del método científico; observación, planteamiento del problema, formulación de hipótesis, experimentación, análisis de la información y comunicación de los resultados. La propuesta responde al diseño Proyecto de Innovación Educativa, teniendo un enfoque mixto donde se utilizaron los siguientes instrumentos; lista de cotejo, guía de observación y un cuestionario a los padres de familia, con el propósito de conocer el progreso que tuvieron los niños desde el inicio hasta el final del proyecto de aprendizaje en función al logro de la competencia en el área mencionada.
The objective of the research was to develop scientific skills in 4-year-old children through the learning project “Somos exploradores marinos" because 70% of the children were at the beginning and 30% were in the process, data obtained in the diagnostic evaluation carried out at the beginning of the year. At the end of the application of the proposal, it was found that the children were able to develop scientific skills in the competence "Investigate through scientific methods to build their knowledge" in the area of Science and Technology, through the six steps of the scientific method: observation, problem statement, hypothesis formulation, experimentation, analysis of information and communication of results. The proposal responds to the design of the Educational Innovation Project, having as a mixed approach where the following instruments were used; checklist, observation guide and a questionnaire to parents, with the purpose of knowing the progress made by the children from the beginning to the end of the learning project in terms of the achievement of the competence in the mentioned area.
