Abstract
The objective of this research was to analyze the contribution of motor games in the development of spatial notions in early education, taking into consideration the benefit in the integral development of the students, emphasizing their motor, cognitive and affective potentialities. We worked under a research framework with a qualitative approach and an informative documentary research design, as well as two instruments were used to collect information, which were the virtual file and web page records. The contributions of motor play have been improving and gaining strength as time goes by, but despite all its potential, it is not given the importance it deserves within the educational practices. They can carry out motor activities as a motivational strategy by regularly providing certain modifications to maintain expectations and not fall into the routine, in this way the students will enjoy their own learning, they will benefit from brain stimulation and will obtain a better cognitive development.
