Abstract
Las problemáticas ambientales y sociales desarrolladas en el contexto peruano evidencian poca conciencia ambiental respecto al impacto de las acciones humanas a diferentes escalas, traduciéndose en el escaso involucramiento de acciones para la conservación del medio ambiente. Por tal razón se consideró necesario emplear una metodología que enseñe a las generaciones futuras la trascendencia de la preservación del medio ambiente a partir de la participación activa en la transformación de su territorio.
La Cartografía Social como metodología para mejorar la competencia gestiona responsablemente el espacio y el ambiente resultó pertinente ya que, esta posee dimensiones que permitieron el análisis de problemáticas territoriales y ambientales, a partir de una participación colaborativa en búsqueda de la generación de acciones que permitan la sostenibilidad de un territorio. A través de la presente investigación de modalidad innovación educativa, enfoque cualitativo, diseño investigación- acción de tipo práctico, se concluye que la Cartografía Social mejora la comprensión de los elementos naturales y sociales, el manejo de fuentes de información y permite la generación de acciones para la conservación del espacio y el ambiente.
The environmental and social problems developed in the Peruvian context show little environmental awareness regarding the impact of human actions at different scales, translating into little involvement in actions for environmental conservation. For this reason, it was considered necessary to use a methodology that teaches future generations the importance of preserving the environment through active participation in the transformation of their territory. Social Cartography as a methodology to improve competence responsibly manages space and the environment was relevant since it has dimensions that allowed the analysis of territorial and environmental problems, based on collaborative participation in search of the generation of actions that allow the sustainability of a territory. Through this research of educational innovation modality, qualitative approach, practical action research design, it is concluded that Social Cartography improves the understanding of natural and social elements, the management of information sources and allows the generation of actions for the conservation of space and the environment.
