Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo como propósito demostrar la eficacia de la historieta, utilizada como estrategia metodológica, en el fortalecimiento de las habilidades lectoras de los estudiantes de tercer grado de secundaria. La investigación fue de tipo aplicada, con un diseño cuasi experimental, y se desarrolló con una muestra de 45 alumnos de una institución educativa pública, divididos en un grupo experimental y otro de control. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó una prueba de lectura, cuyos resultados fueron procesados mediante análisis estadístico descriptivo y la prueba t de Student. Los hallazgos evidenciaron que el grupo experimental, que trabajó con historietas, alcanzó mejoras significativas en comparación con el grupo de control. En consecuencia, se concluye que la historieta constituye una estrategia pedagógica eficaz para potenciar la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de nivel secundario.
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the effectiveness of comics, used as a methodological strategy, in strengthening the reading skills of third-year secondary school students. The research was applied, with a quasi-experimental design, and was carried out with a sample of 45 students from a public educational institution, divided into an experimental group and a control group. A reading test was administered to collect data, and the results were processed using descriptive statistical analysis and Student's t-test. The findings showed that the experimental group, which worked with comics, achieved significant improvements compared to the control group. Consequently, it is concluded that comics are an effective pedagogical strategy for enhancing reading comprehension in secondary school students.
