Abstract
En el presente trabajo se efectuó un análisis sobre el desarrollo en el nivel de logro de los estudiantes en una propuesta de diseño pre experimental, que involucró al tangram y su influencia en la mejora de la competencia Resuelve problemas de forma, movimiento y localización, en un grupo de estudiantes del 3er grado de secundaria de Monterrico I.E. Aplicación. Se consideró abarcar la competencia mencionada a través de sus capacidades con la planificación de sesiones de aprendizaje para luego medirlas a través de una prueba de Matemática. Se realizó un pre y un post para recoger información sobre el nivel de logro de los estudiantes y se utilizó la prueba de Wilcoxon para el contrate de hipótesis, llegando a concluir que el uso del Tangram mejoró el nivel de logro en la competencia Resuelve problemas de forma, movimiento y localización en los estudiantes del 3er grado de secundaria.

Aplicacion. The competence was covered through its capabilities with the planning of learning sessions, which were then measured through a mathematics test. A pre-test and a post-test were conducted to collect information on the level of achievement of the students, and the Wilcoxon test was used for hypothesis testing. The results showed that the use of tangram significantly improves the level of achievement in the competence "Solves problems of shape, movement, and location" in third-grade secondary school students.
