Abstract
El presente estudio tiene como objetivo principal analizar la comprensión lectora en el II ciclo del nivel inicial, a partir del análisis de diferentes fuentes bibliográficas. La investigación se desarrolla con el enfoque metodológico documental a través de la revisión y análisis de artículos científicos, tesis, libros, documentos académicos en relación con la comprensión lectora en la educación inicial. Esta investigación es importante ya que la comprensión lectora constituye una base para el desarrollo cognitivo en los primeros años de vida. Los resultados del análisis documental muestran que la comprensión lectora en los niños se desarrolla de manera gradual a través de la interacción con el adulto, la interacción con los textos y aplicación de estrategias respetando la edad del niño. Esto favorece el desarrollo del pensamiento, el lenguaje y la comprensión con su entorno. En conclusión, la comprensión lectora debe ser aplicada de manera intencionada con estrategias pedagógicas esenciales para que sea base a posteriores aprendizajes. Del mismo modo los docentes tengan una formación sólida, adecuadas estrategias para promover el interés por la lectura en la formación integral de los niños.
The present study has as its main objective to analyze the reading comprehension in the II cycle of the initial level, from the analysis of different bibliographic sources. The research is developed under a documentary methodological approach, based on the review and analysis of scientific articles, theses, books, and academic documents related to reading comprehension in early childhood education. This study is relevant because reading comprehension constitutes a fundamental basis for cognitive development during the early years of life. The results of the documentary analysis indicate that reading comprehension in children develops gradually through interaction with adults, engagement with texts, and the application of pedagogical strategies appropriate to the child’s age. These processes contribute to the development of thinking, language, and understanding of the surrounding environment. In conclusion, reading comprehension should be intentionally promoted through essential pedagogical strategies in order to serve as a foundation for future learning. Likewise, it is essential for teachers to have solid professional training and adequate strategies to foster interest in reading as part of children’s comprehensive development.
