Abstract
El propósito de la presente investigación fue describir la relación entre las tertulias literarias y la comprensión lectora. La población estuvo constituida por los estudiantes del 2° de secundaria y la muestra por 26 estudiantes. La investigación fue cuantitativa, con diseño descriptivo y de tipo correlacional en la cual se emplearon dos instrumentos: el cuestionario de tertulias literarias y una prueba para medir el nivel de comprensión lectora de los estudiantes. Los resultados determinaron que no hay una correlación entre las tertulias literarias y cada uno de los niveles de comprensión lectora, el nivel literal, nivel inferencial y nivel crítico, según la línea de tendencia, la relación es indirecta.
The purpose of this research was to describe the relationship between literary gatherings and reading comprehension. The population was made up of 2nd year high school students from the Monterrico Application Educational Institution and the sample was made up of 26 students. The research was quantitative, with a descriptive and correlational design in which two instruments were used: The literary gathering questionnaire and a test to measure the level of reading comprehension of the students. The results determine that there is no classification between literary gatherings and each of the levels of reading comprehension, the literal level, the inferential level and the critical level, according to the trend line, the relationship is indirect.
