Abstract
El propósito de este estudio fue examinar y explicar la relación entre hábito lector y Plan Lector en estudiantes del séptimo ciclo en la institución educativa 6044 Jorge Chávez, ubicada en Surco, Lima, Perú. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño descriptivo correlacional. Se recolectaron datos a través de dos cuestionarios, uno para cada variable, compuestos por 30 ítems cada uno, administrados a 480 estudiantes de secundaria durante el año lectivo 2023. Se empleó el programa estadístico SPSS versión 22 para analizar los datos, utilizando técnicas de estadística descriptiva como tablas de frecuencia, tablas de contingencia y representaciones gráficas. Los resultados indican una correlación positiva y sólida entre el Plan Lector y la frecuencia de lectura, aunque únicamente el 8,7% de los estudiantes mostraron un hábito lector consolidado. Esto resalta la asociación entre las variables y subraya la importancia de implementar el Plan Lector para fomentar la adquisición de hábitos de lectura.
The purpose of this study was to examine and explain the relationship between reading habit and Reading Plan in seventh cycle students at the educational institution 6044 Jorge Chávez, located in Surco, Lima, Peru. A quantitative approach and a correlational descriptive design were used. Data were collected through two questionnaires, one for each variable, composed of 30 items each, administered to 480 high school students during the 2023 school year. The SPSS version 22 statistical program was used to analyze the data, using statistical techniques. descriptive such as frequency tables, contingency tables and graphical representations. The results indicate a positive and solid correlation between the Reading Plan and the frequency of reading, although only 8.7% of the students showed a consolidated reading habit. This highlights the association between the variables and underlines the importance of implementing the Reading Plan to promote the acquisition of reading habits.
