Abstract
El propósito de este estudio fue analizar cómo las estrategias de modelización contribuyen al desarrollo de los aprendizajes en el área de Ciencia y Tecnología en estudiantes de educación básica regular. La investigación responde a la pregunta: ¿Cómo se desarrolla la modelización en el área de Ciencia y Tecnología en los estudiantes de educación básica regular? Asimismo, se orienta por dos objetivos específicos: identificar las características de modelización y describir los tipos de modelos aplicables. La metodología empleada corresponde a un estudio documental, basado en la revisión, selección y análisis de investigaciones, artículos científicos y documentos nacionales e internacionales vinculados a la modelización educativa. Los resultados de este análisis evidencian que la modelización, sustentada en enfoques constructivistas y del aprendizaje significativo, favorece la comprensión de conceptos complejos de las ciencias mediante representaciones concretas, matemáticas, digitales y analógicas. De este modo, se identifican condiciones esenciales para implementación, como la planificación docente, trabajo colaborativo y la retroalimentación.
The purpose of this study is to analyze how modeling strategies contribute to the development of learning in the area of Science and Technology in regular elementary school students. The research answers the question: How is modeling developed in the area of Science and Technology in regular elementary school students? It is also guided by two specific objectives: to identify the characteristics of modeling and to describe the types of models that can be applied. The methodology used is a documentary study based on the review, selection, and analysis of research, scientific articles, and national and international documents related to educational modeling. The results of this analysis show that modeling, based on constructivist and meaningful learning approaches, promotes the understanding of complex scientific concepts through concrete, mathematical, digital, and analog representations. In this way, essential conditions for implementation are identified, such as teacher planning, collaborative work, and feedback.
