Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo mejorar la producción escrita de los estudiantes del 3er grado “A” de secundaria de la I.E Jesús María San Martín de Porres del distrito Cercado en la región Arequipa, a través de la metodología Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP). Esta investigación con modalidad de innovación educativa e intervención pedagógica bajo el enfoque cuantitativo de tipo cuasi experimental, reunió las variables de la metodología propuesta por el Ministerio de Educación y la producción escrita en inglés, permitió aplicar tres proyectos a la muestra conformada por 17 estudiantes. La intervención pedagógica se realizó a partir de las sesiones de aprendizaje con el propósito de fortalecer el proceso de escritura según las micro habilidades de Brown y Lee (2015). De este modo, se concluye que los estudiantes del 3er grado “A” de secundaria de la institución educativa lograron mejorar la producción escrita a través del ABP.
Se espera que la presente investigación resulte de apoyo pedagógico para los docentes de inglés y oriente a las posteriores investigaciones que busquen favorecer la habilidad de producción escrita.
The objective of this research was to improve the written production of students in the 3rd grade “A” of secondary school at the I.E Jesús María San Martín de Porres in the Cercado district in the Arequipa region, through the Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology. This research with the modality of educational innovation and pedagogical intervention under the quasi-experimental quantitative approach, brought together the variables of the methodology proposed by the Ministry of Education and the written production in English, allowed three projects to be applied to the sample made up of 17 students. The pedagogical intervention was carried out from the learning sessions with the purpose of strengthening the writing process according to the micro-skills of Brown and Lee (2015). In this way, it is concluded that the students of the 3rd grade “A” of secondary school at the educational institution managed to improve the writing production through PBL. It is expected that this research will provide pedagogical support for English teachers and guide subsequent research that seeks to promote writing production skills.
