Abstract
El presente estudio es un trabajo de investigación documental
descriptiva en la cual, se realizó una recopilación de
información sobre el storytelling como estrategia didáctica en
la comprensión lectora en educación primaria mediante la
búsqueda de dichos contenidos en diferentes trabajos de
investigación, libros, revistas y artículos científicos
encontrados en páginas educativas y repositorios confiables.
En el primer capítulo, se describe la situación de la enseñanza
del idioma inglés a nivel mundial, nacional, regional y local. El
marco teórico menciona el origen, la importancia, las etapas y
actividades del storytelling como estrategia en la enseñanza
del inglés. En el segundo capítulo, se expone la metodología
empleada en esta investigación con sus correspondientes
definiciones. Basado en todo la información encontrada y
presentada en este documento, se concluye en que el
storytelling es una estrategia que permite aprender de
manera significativa el idioma inglés debido a que permite
involucrar las experiencias, culturas y contextos de los
estudiantes. También, ayuda a desarrollar el pensamiento
crítico, enriquecer el vocabulario, motivar a los estudiantes a
la lectura y por ende, trabajar la comprensión lectora en este
idioma.
This study is a descriptive documentary research work in which, a collection of information on storytelling as a didactic strategy for reading comprehension in the 2nd grade of primary, it was made by searching contents in different research papers, books, magazines and scientific articles found in educational pages and reliable repositories. The first chapter describes the current state of English language teaching at the global, national, regional, and local levels. The theoretical framework addresses the origin, importance, stages, and activities of storytelling as a strategy for teaching English. The second chapter presents the methodology used in this research, along with its corresponding definitions. Based on all the information found and formulated in this document, The conclusion is that storytelling is a strategy that allows you to learn the English language in a meaningful way because it involves the experiences, cultures and contexts of the students. It also helps to develop critical thinking, enrich vocabulary and motivate students to read, at last, to work reading comprehension in this language.
