Abstract
La investigación "Mediación lectora como facilitadora de la comprensión lectora en estudiantes del VI ciclo de educación secundaria" examinó el tema de la mediación lectora en contexto de la comprensión lectora de estudiantes de educación secundaria. Este estudio abordó la baja comprensión lectora, una problemática acentuada en el contexto peruano y en la zona de estudio, proponiendo la mediación lectora como estrategia pedagógica clave. Con un enfoque cualitativo de diseño documental, se analizaron fuentes teóricas y estudios previos para explicar cómo la mediación lectora fortalecía la comprensión. Los objetivos fueron definir aspectos teóricos de la mediación, caracterizar estrategias aplicadas y establecer su importancia. Se concluye afirmando que la mediación lectora es un elemento crucial para potenciar la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de secundaria en entornos vulnerables, ofreciendo una base para futuras estrategias educativas.
The research “Reading mediation as a facilitator of reading comprehension in students in the VI cycle of secondary education” examined the issue of reading mediation in the context of reading comprehension in secondary education students. This study addressed low reading comprehension, a problem accentuated in the Peruvian context and in the study area, proposing reading mediation as a key pedagogical strategy. With a qualitative approach of documentary design, theoretical sources and previous studies were analyzed to explain how reading mediation strengthened comprehension. The objectives were to define theoretical aspects of mediation, characterize applied strategies and establish their importance. It is concluded that reading mediation is a crucial element to enhance reading comprehension in high school students in vulnerable environments, providing a basis for future educational strategies.
